“The Balint heritage – to return, to reconsider, to recover – is it possible?”

The Swedish Balint Society, convening for its regular annual National Meeting 2024, is pleased also to welcome members of the IBF and to host the IBF 2024 spring Council Meeting.
The conference will take place in the centre of Stockholm in a charming 17th century palace, the van der Nootska Palace. The atmosphere of the building and the excellent service promise a generous frame for the conference participants.
The Palace is located in the bustling southern part of the city centre (Södermalm). It is very close to subway stations (Mariatorget and Slussen) and to the train station (Södra Station) for commuter trains. There are several options for lodging (hotels, B&B etc) at various price ranges, both in the near vicinity and in locations accessible by subway or train within 10-15 minutes.

The conference language will be English in the plenary settings. Small groups will be available in both English and Swedish depending on group composition.
The forms for application/registration will be available on the website of the Swedish Balint Society www.balint.se or www.sfmp.se during December.

For participants arriving on Thursday, we will offer a social program during the evening. A social activity will be offered also for Saturday afternoon.
The conference fee for IBF members will be 2300 SEK appr 195 Euros.
For those interested, we have made reservations of tickets for performances at the Royal Opera House and the Stockholm Concert Hall for Thursday evening. You will be able to book them when you register for the conference. Detailed information is available in the registration form.
The conference will contain both a member business meeting for the Swedish Balint Society and a council meeting for members of the IBF.
